How is it performed?
Through 3–5 small incisions behind the hairline, the forehead and brow tissues are released with the help of an endoscope. Muscles pulling the brows downwards are weakened if necessary, and the brows are lifted to the planned height and secured. The shape of the brow and the symmetry between both sides are planned in detail beforehand.

Frequently asked questions
How does a brow lift differ from botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin gives a temporary and limited change in brow position. A surgical brow lift repositions the tissues and aims at a longer-lasting correction.
Can a brow lift be combined with upper eyelid surgery?
Yes. If part of the heaviness of the eyelid is caused by a drooping brow, planning both procedures together may be appropriate.
Where is the surgery performed?
Operations are performed in licensed hospitals in Istanbul, primarily Liv Hospital Topkapı, with an anaesthetist present.
I am travelling from abroad. How long should I stay in Istanbul?
This depends on the type of surgery and your recovery. After the preliminary assessment, the recommended length of stay is given to you in writing.
