Personal data we process

• Identity data: name, surname, date of birth, nationality; passport details for patients travelling from abroad.
• Contact data: phone number, email address, address, country.
• Health data: your complaints, medical history, examination and test results, treatment information, and photographs you send us.
• Financial data: payment and invoice details.
• Transaction data: the content of your requests and correspondence, appointment records.
• Security data: technical records relating to the use of this website.

Purposes of processing

• Carrying out examinations, preliminary assessments, diagnosis, treatment and care.
• Responding to your appointment and contact requests.
• Sharing your treatment plan, length of stay and costs in writing.
• Carrying out post-treatment check-ups and follow-up.
• Invoicing and processing payments.
• Meeting obligations under Turkish health and international health tourism legislation, and informing the competent authorities.
• Establishing, exercising and defending legal claims.

Legal grounds

Identity, contact, financial and transaction data is processed under Article 5(2) KVKK: where expressly provided by law, where necessary to conclude or perform a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, to establish, exercise or defend a right, and for legitimate interests.

Health data is processed under Article 6(3) KVKK by persons under a duty of confidentiality for the protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care, or on the basis of your explicit consent.

How we collect data

We collect personal data verbally, in writing or electronically, through the contact form on this website, by phone, WhatsApp, email and in person.

Transfers

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with the healthcare facilities where your treatment takes place, the Ministry of Health and its affiliated bodies, competent public authorities, accountants and legal advisers where legally required, insurance companies at your request, and banks for payments.

The servers of the email and messaging services we use for communication may be located outside Türkiye. Information you send through these services may be transferred abroad in accordance with Article 9 KVKK. You may prefer to share your health information in person or by phone instead.

Retention

Personal data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and for the retention periods set by health legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 KVKK you have the right to apply to the data controller to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed,
• request information about the processing,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred,
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 KVKK,
• request that third parties be notified of correction, deletion or destruction,
• object to an adverse outcome resulting from automated analysis,
• claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

How to apply

You can send your request in writing, with information verifying your identity, to Ataköy 7-8-9-10. Kısım Mah., E-5 Yanyol Cad., Ataköy Towers No:20/2 B Blok No:124, 34158 Bakırköy / İstanbul or to info@dremreozbey.com, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are answered free of charge within thirty days at the latest.
